Why Retirement Jobs?

Why read an article on best retirement jobs?  In planning for retirement it is advisable to have more than one source of retirement income. The traditional sources are Social Security, Employer Pension, and Personal Savings. These sources are becoming less reliable.

Governments are under pressure to cut spending, fewer employers are offering defined benefit schemes, and saving is difficult if you also have to pay off debt.

Best Retirement jobs–sounds like an oxymoron! It is indeed strange to find the words ‘retirement’ and ‘jobs’ in the same sentence.

And yet, people may seek senior jobs to supplement retirement income, or may continue to work for personal satisfaction. Often, seniors retire from one career only to begin another.

Hopefully, your retirement financial planning has ensured that you are supported in some manner. So, retirement jobs for seniors are not just about the money.

• Scuba Diving - assist my friend in his Scuba school in the Canary Islands
• Learn Keyboard and join a band, I sang at the Village Inn CA and the China club Hong Kong!
• Local Radio presenter/DJ, I have some radio experience.
• Take an acting course and become an extra - I shouted the lines Fire! Fire, from the wings, in a Shakespearean play.
• Teach Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnosis, which I am qualified to do
